Here is an informational document about pilling of sublimated fabrics.

It is really important to take good care of your garments to ensure the quality remains consistent over time. Here are a few other tips:
  • Do not let dirty leotards sit in a hamper for long periods of time.  
  • Machine wash inside out right away after use with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat right away (don't have the wet leo sit in the wash machine for extended periods).  Do not hang dry.
